1966: Portugal v North Korea

Portugal were the best team of the early rounds. Benfica star, Eusebio, played brilliantly. In the quarterfinal Portugal played the surprise team of the tournament, North Korea.

The North Koreans scored three times in the first half hour and the biggest upset in the history of the World Cup seemed certain.

Eusebio rescued his country. He scored twice before half time, and twice after it. Portugal won 5-3 and Eusebio was the top scorer in tournament with seven goals.
