the Final Stage in France. For the first time, Brazil
are one of the favourites.

is Leônidas da
Silva.
Leônidas is the leading scorer in the 1938 World Cup
with 7 goals in 5 matches. He scores four times in an
extraordinary 6-5 win over Poland in the first round.
In the second round, he scores Brazil's goal in their
1-1 draw with Czechoslovakia. In the replay he scored
the winning goal.
